Setting off not knowing where I am going
Being led by whatever strikes a chord in my soul as I go.
Slowly the common noises disappear
And the familiar sights are left behind me.
Silently I am taking in the new things that start to surround me.
I can hear the bee buzzing ever so loudly
As the other distractions are silenced through distance.
The smell of fragrances and colours enriching
As the morning light strikes through the trees.
The brilliant yellows of sower sobs
that you have seen so many times before
but never really saw.
Looking onward and mapping out possible future paths
Sights that can’t really be seen and wondering what they could be.
Things you’ve never seen before and yet are almost right at your back door.
